In 1987 and 1988 my husband Kyle and I lived and worked in a remote part of Africa building a health care clinic. Today, the clinic is helping meet the needs of Kenyans who are desperate for medical care.
Very soon I'll have the privilege of returning to Africa to serve the people of Kenya. I will be ministering primarily to women and children. These women are often victims of female genital mutilation. For the average girl, there is no use of anesthetic or sterilized instruments used in this horrific procedure.
Please pray that our team is able to minister with sensitivity and compassion to these hurting women. Pray that the men of Kenya learn to value and respect their wives and daughters and will no longer tolerate this horrific procedure.

About Victoria
Victoria was raised attending a local church, but never knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. During her freshman year of college, a friend whose life was radically transformed by Jesus told Victoria how to be born again. It was the first time she had ever heard the salvation message and she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Since that time she has never looked back. Desiring to study the bible and learn more about her faith, she transferred to Oral Roberts University. It was there she met her husband, Kyle. After graduating with her degree in Elementary Education and minor in Physical Education, she moved to Africa to serve as a missionary for two years.
Upon returning to the states, Victoria started a Christian aerobics ministry that reached hundreds of women over a ten year period. She also became a huddle coach with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and grew the huddle from only a handful of students to well over one hundred.
Victoria’s life took a dramatic turn when she tragically lost her daughter, Amber, to an accidental drug overdose. It was through this tragedy that Victoria determined to take what the enemy meant for harm and turn it around for good. The desire to help hurting women has been a passion for Victoria. She has raised thousands of dollars to help hurting girls by sharing her story. Victoria has also been active in helping hurting girls with employment, housing, mentoring and showing the love of Christ.
Her commitment to the community is evident through service on the board of Mercy Ministries as well as being the chairman for numerous St. Louis Mercy Marathons. She also served on the newly formed board of the Metro East Fellowship of Christian Athletes, promoting the start-up of a new FCA chapter. Victoria is an active member of Faith Family Church where she has served as a small group leader, lead teacher, and speaker at ladies events for over 19 years. They have two amazing sons, Zachary, a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, and Austin, a junior at Oral Roberts University. They live in Lebanon, IL.
